What is Plans4?

Plans4 is a free, community-driven online platform in the UK designed to make local planning applications and council developments easier to understand for everyday residents. We're gradually welcoming more local parishes onto the platform.

Plans4 puts every planning application at your fingertips. No more hunting through council websites. No more missing deadlines. No more finding out when it's too late.

The site is live and it works. Now it's about keeping it running, and getting you involved in what's happening across your whole community, not just your road.

Meet the Co-Founders

Claire

Co-founder & Designer

A lifelong Send, Surrey resident, with deep roots in the community, Claire is often found walking her dogs around the village. Her research, communication skills and innate ability for "joining the dots", combined with her passion for transparency, drive Plans4 mission to make planning accessible to all.

Simon

Co-Founder & Architect

Often spotted in his sporty white car (Driving slowly, of course!). Simon built this entire website, out of hours, alongside Claire. His technical expertise, dedication and community spirit bring both their Plans4's vision to life, for the benefit of every resident.

What We Do

We dig through the council documents so you don't have to. Important details get buried in hundreds of pages of planning jargon. We surface what matters, summarise the key facts, and make sure you know what's really being proposed – wherever it is in in your village.

Why We Built It

Too often, residents only pay attention when a development lands on their doorstep. By then, it's often too late.

But here's the thing: that application on the other side of the village? It'll affect your roads, your views, your infrastructure. What happens in your village, happens to ALL of your village. We built this so everyone can see the full picture – not just react to their own back garden.

Who Built It

Two local residents (Claire & Simon), in their spare time, with minimal budget. Blood, sweat and tears.
